Hi there. I’m Louise, founder of Trade My Clutter. I started Trade My Clutter with the aim of providing people with a hassle-free way to make some extra cash, whilst helping to declutter, and at the same time, helping the environment by recycling and reusing.

Having balanced a busy career with a family and home, I understand how easily things pile up, especially with the consumerism and ‘throw away ’culture we have today.

Providing a service whilst enabling clients to make money at the same time seemed like a ‘win win’ situation. Having sold on eBay for some time for myself, friends and family, I decided to make a business out of it and launched Trade My Clutter in 2014. Over the years, my business has steadily grown through word of mouth and returning customers and I now have a small team working alongside me. In addition, I have recently set up a sister business, My Vintage Market, which focuses on selling vintage items and refurbished furniture.

Having worked for several years in Project Management and QA roles for large organisations, I have gained a good eye for detail and a methodical approach to my work. Running a business and home whilst looking after three children, two dogs, a cat and husband means I understand how busy life can be and my organisational skills are second to none!
